Small files that keep the store working.
Cookies are small pieces of information stored by your browser. DV Appliance uses essential cookies to keep products in your basket, connect checkout steps, maintain a signed-in account and support security.
Essential store cookies
| Cookie or group | Purpose and typical duration |
|---|---|
| woocommerce_cart_hash and woocommerce_items_in_cart | Help recognise basket changes; normally last for the browser session. |
| wp_woocommerce_session_* | Links the basket to a customer session; normally lasts up to 2 days. |
| wordpress_logged_in_* and wordpress_sec_* | Maintain authenticated account access; duration depends on the login and “remember me” choice. |
| wordpress_test_cookie | Checks browser cookie support during login; normally session-based. |
| __stripe_mid, __stripe_sid and related Stripe security storage | May be used when Stripe payment services load to support payment security and fraud prevention. Duration is controlled by Stripe and can range from a short session to a year. |
Not every visitor receives every cookie. Cookies depend on whether you add an item, sign in or use payment services. The browser may remove them sooner according to its privacy settings.
Analytics, advertising and your controls
This store currently does not deploy optional analytics or advertising pixels. If optional tracking is introduced, this policy and the relevant consent controls will be updated before it is used where consent is required.
You can inspect, delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may prevent the basket, sign-in or checkout from working correctly. Read our privacy policy for more about the information associated with website use, and Stripe’s privacy policy for its payment services.
